Maze is a purveyor of energetic journeys through flavours of prog, indie and spacey acid, with her roots strongly in slammin’ underground house – having been serving it for 20 years. Inspired by her hometown of queer London/UK at raves such as Block9 at Glastonbury, and the endless search for the power of subtlety, groove and wildness, you can catch her vibe in productions on Permanent Vacation, Turnland, and Neptune Discs; and on the dancefloor in her home of Berlin at the late-late sets at Sisyphos & Horse Meat Disco, and with the dancefloor activation collectives Dose of Pleasure & Pyramid Party – reaching for deeper experiences powered by connection and music. Recent & upcoming sets include Adonis @ The Cause London, Homodrop @ Panorama Bar Berlin, Horsemeatdisco @ Prince Charles Berlin, & Block9 @ Glastonbury 2024.
The scene was set for her upcoming EP on Permanent Vacation with an inclusion in “Permanent Vacation 8” with “Planet Rapture”. Her debut “Lessons EP” on Turnland (DE) was dubbed “as effective an afterparty tool as you’ll hear all year” by Resident Advisor, with the Shan Remix hitting #7 in the Traxsource Chart; and her winter release on Neptune Discs “embodies the sounds of 90s house and trance” according to Mixmag.
